A rebrand spurred by a CPA’s love for her hometown and a desire to guide her clients to success

Megan Ercolani, an experienced CPA based in Southeastern Massachusetts, wanted a new brand to reflect her personality, her values, and the love she has for coastal region in which she lives and works.
Megan was born and raised in New Bedford and currently resides in Dartmouth, MA with her husband and her Portuguese Water Dog, Scarlett. She’s been helping individuals and local businesses thrive throughout the South Coast area for years and decided it was time for a fresh brand and a fresh website.
Early concepts included an anchor as a nod to Megan’s original logo but, once we decided to drop “Your South Coast CPA” from the logo and add a new tagline that better described her mission: “Guiding You to Success,” it was clear the main visual element needed to be a lighthouse.
The approved logo was expanded into a brand system that includes versions for multiple applications, including an icon for social media profiles.
“Justin did an amazing job on my website and new logo. He was really great to work with and very patient while I was figuring out my overall brand and the message. He asks for feedback and comments during the whole process, which made me feel really involved. Justin made sure we got the messaging right and that the website and branding really fit my personality.”
