The Spark Social
Nicole and Alicia were merging their respective social media marketing companies and they needed a new brand for their new kick-ass agency. They had already selected a name, The Spark Social, based on their desire to ignite the growth of small businesses through customized social media marketing.
I sat down with Nicole and Alicia and walked them through several strategy exercises, the culmination of which birthed a new mission statement, vision, and core values. With those foundational pieces in place, we were ready to move on to the visual identity. I had prepared three distinctive visual directions but, as soon as I presented the first one, Nicole said, “We don’t need to see the rest, this is the one! It fits us perfectly!”
What I love about this visual identity is the organic and lively nature of the spark symbol (a doodle I made while waiting to meet with another client), that captures Nicole and Alicia’s individual personalities and combined passion. The bright color palette reflects the “let’s do this!” essence that their new marketing agency projects.
